Back on the Grid!
Hello again and apologies for the extended hiatus!
The days have been a blur since I arrived in Tokyo on July 22nd. After battling jet lag, all-day trainings and even more traveling to my new home in Ushiku, I hit another snag. No Wi-Fi. It’s taken me a couple weeks, but I’m finally back on the grid and ready to start updating everything!
The good news is, I’ve been gathering awesome new content this entire time. There are tons of pictures, videos, stories, and travel tips coming your way starting this week. Get excited.
Since arriving in Ushiku, I’ve attended a parade for a reptile monster that’s obsessed with human butts, eaten parts of a chicken that I never knew existed let alone were edible, and visited the world’s tallest Buddha statue (three times taller than the Statue of Liberty!). It’s been a blast and I’m only two weeks in. I can’t wait to see what the near future holds.
Stay tuned this week for a ton of updates.
Also, I’ll be live streaming a fireworks festival from the previously mentioned Buddha statue on August 15th, so if you don’t already follow me on Instagram, do it now and tune in for the show!
